I’ve wanted to make baked oatmeal for a long, long time but have never just gotten around to it. Maybe I’m impatient and want my breakfast ASAP…I don’t know. Well, today was the day and I tried out this recipe and it’s quite tasty, but I think I’ll follow the suggestion of one of the comments on the recipe’s page: cut down the brown sugar and change out the melted butter for applesauce. I’m a big sugar-lover but if I can cut down in certain areas, all the better. It allows me the option of more sugar consumption later in the day 🙂
