If you are a fan or at least tolerant of sausage, you need to make this. I guess you might need a slow cooker, too. I took this to a party at Ashlie’s apartment and even people who were not so into sauerkraut thought it was good. Why? It is slow cooked with brown sugar. That’s why. It takes out some of the acidity and strong, in-your-face sauerkraut taste.
